A New Post on Tidbits of Joy

I've found my old Tidbits of Joy site (compliments to Kelley Delaney) so since I've been going through a lot of my old photos (as Bill and I are planning to make a big move this year...to a new smaller home) thought I would put some of my favorite finds on the site.  (How's that for a nice, long run-on sentence?)

Most recent was our trip to the zoo.  Logan (a 15-year-old as of today) in the driver's seat with Ava and Oliver as sidekicks.

A hellbender salamander, which was Oliver's new favorite animal.  I think he thought he was getting away with something saying it's name over and over.

Now, to get to the old pictures.  Here, from the Keller Manufacturing Factory, my great-grandfather W.H. Keller and his three cohorts.  Note their motto "we four and no more."

Just where brother Scott got his saying whenever he got together with his partners-in-good-times, Gregg, Jason and Michael.  Scott always said, "We four and no more!"

My Mom, in dark dress, showing off baby, Jerry, in front of the old Dream Theatre (1941).  She always had pretty legs.  Mom will be celebrating her 100th birthday in 2 weeks.  Heavens gain.

Mom, reading her journal notes to the family with a headlight on her forehead.  She wrote EVERYthing down.  Guess that's where I got my love of journaling from.

A favorite picture of my Dad.  A tall and distinguished-looking fellow with a big heart.

Do-si-do!  Avery & Lydia in a spontaneous dance to the music of a street festival in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Road rage!  A little photoshopping of Ashleigh Stem and Avery Radmacher.  We celebrated Ashleigh's graduation from nursing school this summer and Avery is married now.

A favorite picture of my brother Frank, like his father he has a big heart.  The baby is our contented Inga Renee.

Ava Grace, a perfect centerpiece.  She's now 11, going on 18.

A favorite pic of Bill & me.  We were each watching a grandkid play soccer on opposite fields.  It was a very hot day...I even ended up dehydrated and with a rip-roaring bladder infection.  Still, a good day.

Mom, holding baby Ava Grace and I think Logan was a little peeved that Ava was getting all of Mom-Mom's attention.  BTW, Logan is 15 today!

Sweet Maria Leis, the daughter of Gregg's first love.  She would be 20 now.  She and I had some great times together.  I still miss her.

Can't miss posting the cat that rules our house, Piston.  She'll be 15 this year I think.  She sheds a lot and coughs up an occasional hairball, but Bill and I love her dearly.

Well, I better close this post.  I've certainly enjoyed going through my picture files.  I'll have to put some of our travels on another day.
